I am writing this because, as a medical doctor specializing in brain power, I have been seeing a lot of articles about how people who have brain damage can become more mentally focused, while those who don't have brain damage don't know how to get more focused.
It is not just the brain that we have to worry about. Our muscles, our skin and other body systems are as susceptible to damage from a lack of attention. For instance, there is a very serious problem with our blood system that requires lots of attention. If you have been following the news lately, you may have heard of a new study that found the number of people diagnosed with dementia rose by about 25% in the last 10 years. But while this may be an increase in the population, it was a result of the increase in diagnosis of other conditions, including diabetes. The reason for this is that people get better when they know how to manage their diabetes. When people lose their ability to regulate their blood sugar levels they become more likely to have other problems with health. If you think that you may be at increased risk of getting diabetes, then you should talk to your doctor about whether or not you should start taking insulin.
